Kathmandu: Journalist Dipendra Dong has passed away. According to family sources, Dong, who was undergoing treatment at Medicity Hospital in Lalitpur due to a brain hemorrhage, passed away on Saturday afternoon.
Dong had been actively involved in journalism for a long time. He served as the Station Manager of Radio Janata, operated by Janata Broadcasting and Publication Limited, and as the Group Editor of JanataSamachar.com, promoted by Janata Television. In recent times, he was also working as the Chief Executive Officer of Madhyanha Daily.
His passing has caused an irreparable loss to the Nepali journalism sector.
Janata Broadcasting and Publication Limited has expressed heartfelt tribute to the late journalist and extended deep condolences to the bereaved family. Likewise, all staff members of Janata Television, Radio Janata, JanataSamachar.com, and Jan Sanchar Prakashan, operated under the same institution, have paid their sincere tributes.
